If you were stationed in Quang Tri with the 5th Infantry Division, please READ the following and contact the “Red Diamond Network” http://www.fifthinfantrydivision.com/
“I’m interested in knowing if you are a Vietnam Veteran, who served in Quang Tri, who took the daily little white pill Dapsone (often dispensed in silver foil strips) and if you have symptoms of any type of Arthritis or if you have been diagnosed as having Rhuematoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, or any other immune system disorder.” “Over the past five years I’ve talked with a lot of the guys and it seems like most of us have arthritis type symptoms..... five out of six or maybe eight out of ten when we are sitting around in a BS session. And yet the VA and the Arthritis professionals don’t seem to have made any connection.... no apparent research to look into if we (Quang Tri vets) do have Arthritis at statistical rates much higher than the general population”. “And Dapsone was the little white pill we were supposed to take every day to prevent Valcipriam Malaria. Most likely all our water was contaminated with Agent Orange - too many spray areas had run off into the streams that were used by water treatment operations and they were not removing herbicides.... didn’t even test for them until the 1980’s”. The Society of 5th Infantry Division webmaster, is surveying all members. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate hearing from you.
