Call to Order
Meeting was called to order at 1100 hours by John Clark. Those present
stood for the Pledge of Allegiance.
The purpose of the was stated: To form a Chapter
of the Vietnam Veterans of America in Southern Utah.
Mike Overmeyer, President of Salt Lake Chapter of VVA
was introduced as the guest speaker. Overmeyer suggested that comments
from the floor be heard. The general consensus of those present
was that a Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America should be formed
in Southern Utah.
John Clark was asked to be Interim President, Mike
Gale was asked to be Interim Vice President, Ronnie Vause was asked
to be Interim Secretary, and George Strutzel and Chris Velasquez were
asked to be directors. All accepted.
Next Meeting
Next meeting will be held on May 21, 2005 from 1000 to 1200 hours at
595 South Bluff, Suite #6 in St. George, Utah.
